Trail

overview

A popular attraction for fitness and recreation, the Cochran Shoals Trail loop can be found on the northwestern outskirts of Atlanta. The trail extends over 2 miles along the western bank of the Chattahoochee River. The scenic unpaved pathways traverse the CRNRA to offer a serene and picturesque atmosphere. The southern end of the trail marks the beginning of the paved Akers Mill Trail, which allows a connection to various other trails in Cumberland and Smyrna.
