Chattahoochee Camp+Paddle Trail Campsite Build Day

We need your help! As Trust for Public Land (TPL) is nearing completion of the Chattahoochee Camp+Paddle Trail we need help building the primitive campsites and trails. Please join us for a workday on Saturday, June 8th, 8:30am – Noon.

During the workday, will provide instructions for the activities we will undertake which includes clearing and levelling campsites and trails with shovels, loppers, pick axes and garden rakes, and then hauling stones, logs, and mulch in wheelbarrows to each campsite and along the trails and then spreading the mulch. If there is time we may also assemble and install picnic tables, benches, and a fire ring.

Thing to note:

• TPL will provide all the tools and lead volunteers that will direct scouts and any other volunteers.
• Parking is available on-site.
• This event is rain or shine.
• Minimum age of volunteers is 10.
