This seminar will give an overview of the project and how to get involved in the upcoming process to transform the site from its former use to one that not only memorializes those who worked (and possibly died) there, but also one that will serve the needs of Atlanta residents today.

Introductions and explanation of the Chattahoochee Brick project by City partners and City officials and staff

Keynote Speaker: Clarissa Myrick-Harris, Morehouse College

Dr. Clarissa Myrick-Harris of Morehouse College will give a keynote presentation on the importance of memorialization and atonement as they relate to Atlanta’s Black history and culture.
