This event is postponed due to the high levels of E. coli contamination in the Chattahoochee River in Roswell/Sandy Springs and downstream.

TPL would like to thank the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and local municipalities for addressing these issues so quickly and decisively. These organizations play a key role in keeping people safe in and near our region’s greatest ecological asset.

Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and Trust for Public Land’s are teaming up to host this 11-mile paddle trip through a part of the river not accessible to most – but great things are coming for this stretch of river.

Join us as we paddle from Riverview Landing in Smyrna to the Highway 166 Bridge off Campbellton Road. We will be spending a great deal of time exploring Buzzard Roost Island.

Participants must register on the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper website.
