Join Us for our FIRST ever Second Saturday Sweep: Chattahoochee Community Cleanup! Each month, Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy will be hosting a cleanup at one of the park units along Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. Help us preserve and enhance the beauty of our park by participating in this community cleanup effort!
We’ll begin our day by meeting in front of the covered bridge at Old Mill Park at 10 AM. We will walk as a group across the bridge to pick up trash along the water and trails of the Vickery Creek Unit. All necessary supplies will be provided, including trash pickers, gloves, and trash bags. This cleanup takes place in a hiking environment, so please wear appropriate clothes and sturdy shoes suitable for outdoor activities.
