Sweep the Hooch returns for the 15th year! This watershed-wide day of service is an enormous cleanup effort along the Chattahoochee River and its tributaries. Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and partnering hosts are excited to offer more than 60 volunteer cleanup sites for walkers, waders, and paddlers throughout the entire watershed. This event would not be possible without you and all the partnering organizations who help host these sites. Thank you for your support!
Registration is for individuals only and their children if applicable. Do not register a group on this registration site – email tbates@chattahoochee.org for more info.
Site selection by region: Registration is divided into three regions: Headwaters (North) which includes cleanup locations in Forsyth, Habersham, Hall, and White Counties; Metro Atlanta which includes cleanup locations in Carroll, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fulton, and Gwinnett Counties; and Middle Chattahoochee (South) which includes cleanup locations in Coweta, Muscogee, and Troup Counties.
Our Chattahoochee RiverLands Team at Trust for Public Land will be co-leading Sweep the Hooch at New RiverLands Park in Chattahoochee Hills (8661 Campbellton Redwine Rd., Chattahoochee Hills, GA 30268)
