Event details

Birds Georgia is working with Trust for Public Land to remove invasive species and restore native bird habitat at the Chattahoochee RiverLands Camp+Paddle Trail Site near Chattahoochee Hills, GA, and we invite you to join us! Work will be supervised by Birds Georgia, and we need your help.

The focus of the workday is planting all of the native pollinator-friendly plants in the second garden.

What to bring?

  • Water
  • Dress according to the weather and the work being done; chance of encountering poison ivy, insects, arachnids, etc.
  • Close-toed shoes – boots recommended
  • Recommended but not required: sunglasses, binoculars (it’s a great spot for birding!)
